Palliative ambassadors are cancer patients (and survivors) who proactively move to motivate other patients to undergo treatment. On 15th and 29th November 2019, the Palliative Team held a Basic Counseling Program for the palliative ambassadors. The speaker was Mrs Kusuma Nurainingtyas, a clinical psychologist. The purpose of this program is to make the ambassadors have practical skills in motivating other patients. They were taught how to understand one’s strengths and weaknesses and verbal skills to strengthen other patients. (Nad)
